We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been awarded the Best Business/ Organisation Entry in Chorleywood Magazine’s 2024 Scarecrow Trail Awards!
This fantastic event, which started back in 2016, brings together individuals, businesses and groups from Chorleywood, Chenies, Sarratt and Latimer. This year’s trail was raising funds for urgent repairs to the Chorleywood Scout HQ - such an important local cause.
Scarecrows were displayed in windows, gardens, and outside pubs, shops, schools, churches and businesses - anywhere they could catch the eye of passers-by. The entire process, from the trail maps to the voting forms, was brilliantly conducted online.
The theme for this year’s trail was 'TIME', and keeping travel in mind, we chose Around The World In 80 Days as our inspiration.
Enter Foggy, our very own creation named after the iconic Phileas Fogg. Constructing Foggy was a blast and seeing him come to life was even better.
We had a feeling he was well received - so many people stopped to comment on him - and it’s fantastic to see him recognised by Chorleywood Magazine and the local community.
Prizes will be awarded at the Chorleywood Christmas Festival on 6 December, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone involved. A huge thank you to all who made this brilliant local initiative possible, and to everyone who voted for Foggy.
What a great way to bring the community together! 😊
