This month’screening is Leave No Trace (Certificate 12, 109 mins).
In this emotional father and daughter drama, Will, who is an Iraq war veteran and his 13-year-old daughter, Tom, have lived off the grid for years in the forests of Portland, in Oregon. When their idyllic life is shattered, both are put into social services and forced to start to integrate back into society.
Whilst Tom begins to connect with others and to thrive, Will struggles. And, after clashing with their new surroundings, they set off on a challenging journey back to their wild homeland.
Starring Ben Foster, Thomasin McKenzie, Jeff Kober and Dale Dickey.
Leave No Trace screens on Friday 21st February at The War Memorial Hall on Common Road in Chorleywood. Doors open from 7.30 pm and the film starts at 8 pm.
