From 1 September 2015, anyone booking travel to Kenya, who was previously eligible to purchase a visa on arrival, will now be required to purchase a visa online in advance of travel. You can apply for a Kenyan visa on the ecitizen website.
Until 1 September 2015 you can still get a visa through other means (e.g. on arrival at the airport or at your nearest Kenyan High Commission or Embassy) in addition to the new electronic system.
From 1 September 2015 the electronic system will be the only method to apply for a Kenyan visa, so if you travel to Kenya from 1 September onwards, you’ll need to apply for a visa online before you travel. Click here for details on entry requirements for Kenya. Your nearest Kenyan High Commission/Consulate may also be able to answer questions arising from this change in policy.
Customers requiring a visa for travel to Kenya will be asked to produce a printed copy of it at airport check-in. Customers without the required visa will not be accepted for travel.
