BA announces its longest long-haul flight between London and Santiago de Chile
British Airways is launching the only direct flight between London and Santiago in Chile in January 2017.
Flights to Santiago will commence on January 3rd 2017 and will become British Airway’s longest long-haul route. Flight time will be 14 hours 40 minutes, which is nearly an hour more than the current longest flight of 13 hours 50 minutes service to Buenos Aires in Argentina.
The new four-a-week long-haul flight will be served by the airline’s newest aircraft, the four-cabin Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Customers can choose from four comfortable cabins on board: First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller.

BA251 will depart London Heathrow (LHR) at 22:00* and arrive at 09:40* in Santiago (SCL) on Tue, Wed, Fri, Sun
BA250 will depart Santiago (SCL) at 18:45* and arrive at 12:05* in London Heathrow (LHR) on Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat
