Where will you go to in 2019?
We’re great believers in planning ahead – in travel, it almost always pays off. Here’s why we recommend that you book your 2019 holidays early, and stay ahead of the crowd…
The nights are drawing in and the weather getting damper and cooler as we head into the winter season. It is a time of year where we start to dig out our coats and warmer clothing. Christmas is tiptoeing around on the horizon and it seems a long time since the children went back to school. And whilst next year’s holidays may not be a pressing consideration, indeed a distraction from our day to day lives, this is a good time to start planning.
Six reasons why you should book your 2019 holidays early
Firstly, here at Ultimate Destinations, we’re seeing lots of excellent 2019 offers flooding in. Discounts, small deposits, early bird rewards. Luxury travel, beach holidays, luxury cruises, short breaks. There are some fantastic deals to be had. Give us a call and we can talk you through some of the best.
Secondly, you will get a better pick of accommodation – hotels, apartments, chalets, luxury cruises – and more choice regarding the standard of rooms and suites. Your choices will reduce as demand rises. We’re expecting lots of people to book their travel plans for 2019 in January and February so now is the opportune time to stay one step ahead.
Thirdly, flights. Booking early gives you good flight availability. Airlines have lots of seat classes and they all have different pricing. The better value seats will sell first. So there is a cost of delay to you if you leave your travel plans until near to your travel date – you will pay more.
Fourthly, we can often beat internet prices. In our experience, travel is generally no cheaper online and as independent travel agents with no ties to one particular travel operator, we can seek out the very best deal for you. We have access to all the contracts that online travel companies have and to boot, you’ll get 5-star service, a personal touch. Furthermore, we are ATOL registered, giving you the peace of mind of knowing that your booking is protected.
Fifthly, all of the team at Ultimate Destinations love to travel. Alan has just returned from Crete. Deborah will be exploring Costa Rica in November and visited Croatia earlier this year. Andy is heading off to Uganda next month – a journey of a lifetime! We are well placed to offer first-hand advice on the best places to visit and stay and at what time of year to travel. For example, we don’t recommend travelling to the Caribbean between August and October because this is hurricane season. We’re also in the know about new hotels, travel trends and which travel companies provide the best experiences. You won’t necessarily get that good advice from an online travel operator which will just take your order and assume you know everything about the destination you are planning to visit.
Last but not least, deciding to book your 2019 holidays early gives you the chance to budget and spread the cost. And gives you something to look forward to and daydream about right through the British winter!
Here’s what one of our customers recently commented about us on Feefo:
“Great advice, great process, a great holiday!
My wife and I used Ultimate Destinations to book a holiday to Mauritius. We have previously used online booking agents, so this was a bit of a departure for us, using a physical travel agent. But I have to say, our experience was superb – the staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and took time to advise us. Plus they had actually been to the resorts we were looking at. We will be using them again!”
For the best 2019 travel plans, we recommend that you break the task into two halves. Harness the power of the internet to research your travel and holidays plans. Then come to an independent travel agent like Ultimate Destinations, that is ABTA registered (100% consumer protection) and offers fantastic customer service to book. The best of both worlds.
